Farhana Rahman

Farhana Rahman: She is the founder member and executive director of Ontario Bengali Cultural Society. 

She studied English literature at Dhaka University( 1992). 

After migrating to Canada she earned her diploma in Graphic Designing from George Brown College, Toronto (2001). She is working in print design and production since then.

She is working full time as a real estate agent after earning the realestate licence from OREA ( 2018).

As her passion she paints, writes in Bengali media ( she has 2 books published).

Dr. Mohammed Hossain

Dr. Mohammed Hossain is a researcher and consultant in the field of groundwater and environment. He possesses sound knowledge in monitoring and evaluating results in relation to assessment of groundwater resources availability and water quality. He is experienced in preparing popular documents, concept paper, strategic plan and technical information for sharing with policy makers, implementers, development partners, technicians, local level institutes and end-users. Dr. Hossain has published research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and book chapters. For his research publication, he has received the global best paper award from Technical University of Delft (TUD), The Netherlands in 2019. He is married to Farhana Sonia and the proud father of a daughter Sarah Hossain. He likes to tour and travel and has visited 32 countries across five continents. He believes in good human relations and loves to extend cooperation to the people in need.

Dr. Farhana Maswud is a dedicated, result-driven, & accessibility focused workforce development professional who understands the medical, social and personal dimensions of the employment and workplace needs. Her passion is to work that contributes to making a difference in the quality of human life by helping people to achieve financial wellness.

 

Dr. Farhana completed MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College Hospital and Master’s in Public Health from North South University. After coming to Canada her passion towards health and wellness drove to complete 3 post-graduations in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion, Mental Health and Disability Management, and Brain Disorder Management.

 

She is experienced working in multicultural environment to managing complex cases of vulnerable populations and developmental disabilities. Currently, Dr. Farhana works as Employment consultant and coach to develop career because she believes that financial wellness is a vital sector of health because with employment and financial security, people can prevent different physical, mental, and social issues. Additionally, she provides health coaching for a sound body and mind. Dr. Farhana’s motto to life is: To live a long happy life, we need to have a Healthy Body, Calm Mind, Stay Busy, and Work Hard.
